Hi I’m Natalie, I am a mother of 2 sweet boys and married to my best friend. I am a doula and childbirth educator serving in San Diego. 

 

My journey on becoming a birth doula started after the birth of my first son. I didn’t prepare much and welcomed him by an unplanned Cesarean birth. Looking back, I didn’t know I could take part in the decision making process during labor. I realized there were many things I didn’t understand about birth.

I started educating myself and found a whole new perspective about this life changing experience. The primary one being that birth is a rite of passage. It’s not only a physical experience, but also an emotional, spiritual and a mental one. It’s the transition into becoming a mother, a parent (for the first time, or second or third..).

It was this realization that inspired me to become a doula, and to be there for other mothers and families on their transformative moment.

I had my second son in 2023, this time I came prepared and successfully had a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) at my home, which was a very empowering and amazing experience!

 

My purpose is to help you feel empowered, uplifted, supported and safe. I believe that every family has their own story and their own path to go through. I will be there for you for every step of the way.

I will help you prepare your mindset, support you emotionally and physically and be your advocate through your journey!
